10) Cloverfield
The buzz around this film is deafening, i cant recall the last good american monster movie, and I’m tickled by the idea of something bigger than the stay puft marshmallow man running around manhattan.

9) Wall-e
This Disney-Pixar summer release looks like a mix of E.T. and Short Circuit. Not much is known about Wall-e, other than that he is a robot who crushes trash and stacks it into blocks. This seems like a return to pixar’s roots, and they really can do no wrong.

8 ) Get Smart
If Steve Carell can’t be Maxwell Smart, no one can. This looks to be one of the best “old tv series turned re-make movie”s .

7) Iron Man
I have been waiting with baited breath for this movie ever since the announcement of Robert Downey Jr. as Tony Stark. The Iron Man suits look near perfect, and i think this movie will be the replacement for the Spider-Man series.

6 Hell Boy II
I can’t wait for the sequel to the most true comic adaptation ever.

5) New Kevin Smith Movie
Seth Rogen+ Elizabeth Banks+ Kevin Smith should = comedy gold. Details are sparse on this but it is known that it will not take place in Kevin Smith’s “View-Askewniverse” which should be refreshing.
4) James Bond 22
While not releasing a bond movie in 2007, i can’t wait to see Daniel Craig don the tuxedo and martini again. Shooting begins January 3rd.
3) Be Kind Rewind
This may be Michel Gondry’s masterpiece. Jack Black and Mos Def run a movie rental store, and after Jack Black accidentally ruins all the tapes, He and Mos Def re-create The Lion King, Rush Hour, Ghostbusters, When We Were Kings, Back to the Future, Driving Miss Daisy, and Robocop.

2) Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull
Little is known about this, except that Spielberg, Harrison Ford and Shia LaBeof are all attached.

1) The Dark Knight
This has the possibility of being the best Batman movie yet.

Anticipating Iron Man as well. Was not sure about Robert Downey Jr until I saw a preview, and he is a perfect fit for Tony Stark. He looks incredible.
I was not aware of Hellboy II, only hope it is as good as the first. It is one of our favorites. Please tell me Ron Pearlman is reprising his role!
And of course, The Dark Knight is a must see, especially since I’m such a Gary Oldman fan!
